Dr. Mabel Legori Founder President, ACM | ACM OFFICE Bearers 2020 to 2023 ACM representation to MCI regarding signing of lab reports A recent circular from MCI and later from Kerala state Medical Council had restricted the signing of lab reports to Pathologists. In this context, we, the office bearers had written a letter with signatures from members in Kerala, to Kerala Medical Council and kept all these documents with it. A copy has been sent to MCI and DME,Kerala. The Board of Governors (in place of MCI) has finally agreed to follow the norms of the MOHFW. Hence there is no doubt regarding the eligibility to sign reports henceforth |
